Educational app for toddlers ‘Baby Peek-a-boo Animals in Africa’

  

  Baby Peek-a-boo ($0.99, iPhone/iPad) – is an educational app by developer Lapiz Design for toddlers.

App includes 12 African animals: Lion, Elephant, Giraffe, Meerkat, Gorilla, Zebra, Hippo, Leopard, Hyena, Mandrill, Rhino, Gazelle.  They hide their little faces and at this time emit natural sounds. When baby touches the animals they become an active and show their faces. In the top of the screen appears animal’s name which is accompanied by a sound at the selected language. There are 14 languages in this app – Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish. Sometimes it’s a difficult to find a sounded application in some of these languages, so this app would be a good solution. The color palette of the app is very soft, so eyes of your kid won’t be tired.

Wishing: to add more animals.

So, with this app you can study African animals, their natural sounds, how they are called in different languages. And the app is very easy for kids of 1 year old and over. Toddlers will love this game.

    I believe this kind of apps can actually help kids to learn something and entertain them at the same time. That’s why our first app was of a similar kind. Need to check this one out 🙂
