App for speech and studying English “Babble Planet”

 Babble Planet ($4.99, iPad) – is a game for elementary school kids to learn spoken English while having fun, by developer Swasa. This is a really excellent educational app for kids, and don’t matter what is the main child’s language. This app will teach to speak correctly English-speaking kids and children who study English in the whole World. Babble Planet was developed with the latest speech recognition technologies, and gives feedback that is essential for kids to correct their mistakes and improve their pronunciation.

There are 2 available levels in this games presented as different countries – India and Mexico. Every level contains 6 scenes with various themes to arouse kids’ interest for education. Every scene contains tips if child does something wrong.

India_Level:

1) Numbers – kid have to call correct number, and the app recognizes speech, analyzes and accept answer or shows the message “Sure you can do better!”, so child have to repeat his attempt.

2) Fruits and vegetables – child have to listen to chief what vegetables and fruits he calls, and touch the screen to remove them.

3) Colors – child have to call the colors of cars, and the app recognizes speech again, analyzes and accept answer or shows the message “Sure you can do better!”, so child have to repeat his attempt.

4) Clothes – child have to find correct garment and dress it on a boy or girl.

5) Weather – child need voice the drawn pictures, and the app recognizes speech again, analyzes.

6) Inverted cards – a half of cards are voiced, the second half contains corresponding pictures. Child has to find equal cards. The theme is birds and animals.

Mexico_Level:

1) Archeology theme – need to combine points with lines and get an archaeological picture.

2) Fruits and vegetables – child have to listen to deliveryman what vegetables and fruits he calls, and the app recognizes speech again, analyzes.

3) Build puppets – child learns the body’s parts; he needs listen to voice and choose correct picture to “build” a puppet.

4) Clothes – child has to call aloud garment, and program analyzes.

5) Inverted cards – the same scene, like in India_Level. The theme is kinds of sports.

6) Unnecessary objects – to find the one unnecessary animal among similar animals and to call aloud; program analyzes.

Babble Planet helps you to track your child’s learning progression thanks to a detailed parental monthly report. Easy access to the main menu by clicking button “Pause”.

Japan_level will be available soon. And that’s not all.
